Chris Tessarolo Blog #1

One of the earliest memories I have was the first time I went to Disney world down here in Orlando, Florida. Being from Chicago, we didn't have that many attractions around me. Just going up to Wisconsin was entertainment to us. This was the first time (that I remember) flying on a plane, and going somewhere far from home. One of my parents was trying to tell me what was down at Disney, but being a really little kid, I didn't care. I just wanted to be there. Though, one thing in particular stuck in my head. They said there was a Buzz Lightyear ride. Now, every kid had a favorite character when they were young. Buzz Lightyear was mine. I had every toy you could think of. I even was Buzz Lightyear for the halloween before this trip. From the time we got on the plane till the time we got to the Disney parks, I was waiting for this Buzz Lightyear ride. After what seemed to be a year in my eyes, we finally got to Magic Kingdom and I finally got into the line for this ride...and I had to wait again. For another year. We finally got to the entrance to the ride and I finally got on. The best thing- my favorite character, Buzz Lightyear, had helped me get into the cart for this ride. Full costume and all. It was quite possibly the best day of my life as a young 5 year old.
(I don't have any pictures of me on it so heres a picture of some random girls riding it from google)
