Jessica Sloan Blog #2

She was in the U.S. Military Academy as a freshman when it happened. As being the opposite sex, it was scary trying to become a Marine. She was in a world where 80 percent of the student body was male. She was below them. Staggered, the second she stood up she was drunk. She hurried out freaked as to what has happened. She was too numb, blaming herself. Later, she froze and become angry. This needed an investigation. The culprit only got 100 marching hours. She was defeated; her attacker won. Filing a lawsuit, she went after the male dominated culture that makes it so girls are scared. They need to be seriously punished. She felt accomplished uttering the words, "I'm done being the victim!".
