Tyler Clark Blog #1

The earliest memory I have of myself was during my little sister's third birthday party. It starts with me hiding behind a tree, angry, because she was getting all of the attention instead of me. We had always had birthday parties in our own home, so having one outside was kind of a special thing for us. I was hiding behind the tree and one of the adults came up to me and asked what was wrong and why I was hiding behind a tree. They thought I was still playing hide and seek and no one ever found me. I said I was angry because everyone was focused on my sister. They said that its fine, because if everyone was focused on me here and now, no one would focus on me at my own party. Me and my little kid brain made what little sense of it that it could, and I stopped being angry, and played along.
