Meagan Hoffman, Blog #6

My scar for this assignment is located on the inside/underside of my right arm in the crook of my elbow. I received the scar when I was about the age of 8 on a trip to North Carolina. My family and I were walking and exploring the countryside of Maggie Valley in NC when I slipped on wet grass right along the side of barbed wire fencing. It sliced my elbow open and it started bleeding instantly. It took a while to heal and has now left a nice long, shiny scar on my arm. The scar has now faded some since it has been so long since the incident. The funny thing about my scar is that about 5 minutes before I cut myself on the barbed wire, my mom called out to both my sister and I warning us to be carful on the wet grass and not to slip into the barbed wire.
